I offer tutoring to adults and children in beginner German and Russian languages for those who wish to be conversant.

Need English training? I tutor adults and children whose native language is not English.

Business Coaching

I coach those who wish to start a business, change a business, or add on a new business. 

I conduct a 2-day course helping people to conceive of, then start and sustain a business of their own. The course includes conceptualization, market analysis, a feasibility study, writing a business plan and human resources. The course prepares students to propose a plan to a lender and obtain the capital needed to start and continue a business. A shorter version of the course is also given, entitled "A One Page Business Plan", to get people oriented before doing a great deal of work. The 2-day course has been given 20 times throughout the world, and each time, is given in a culturally relevant setting. A course manual will soon be written and published.

Capital and Operations Cost Estimating

I take on projects to estimate capital and operating costs for any project, large or small, in any field of business. My vast experience in industry is applied to such assignments.

Career Counseling

I offer career counseling for any who wish to enter the workplace, identify their strongest position in the business world and perform at a higher level in their present place of employment to protect themselves from losing their job.

Expert Witness

I participate in various investigations working with an attorney when cases arise which require analysis of what happened in industrial accidents or incidents. I have experience in being deposed and have acted in courtroom proceedings.

Interview Coaching

I tutor on the techniques of how to interview for a job. When only 1 in 100 people are chosen for a given position, it is critical for you to know how to land that job!

Process Hazards Surveys

I do process hazards surveys for factories, whether plastics, food, agricultural, mining, or any other field. My primary method is to use the failure mode and effect analysis.

Resume Assistance

I help people create resumes to publish as they look for a job.

Minerals and Rocks Presentations in Schools

I give talks to school children about my hobby, mineral collecting. I do this always in conjunction with units on earth science, and have done this in many parts of the world. Minerals are one of my passions, and my desire is to enthuse young pupils to go into a science field. My collection numbers more than 2,000 specimens from every continent.
